My husband recently started back to work and we were in need of reliable childcare for my 14 month old daughter and 5 year old son. In my search, I discovered Ohana Daycare. I had concerns about in-home care as my daughter has never been in a daycare environment but my husband checked it out and felt really at ease with Sonia. We went ahead and enrolled them and I am so happy we made that decision. Sonia is phenomenal! I have peace of mind when I drop my kids off because I know they are in great hands. My daughter really enjoys playing with the other kids and learning. Sonia is teaching her words with some 1st word flash cards as well as teaching her the parts of her face (eyes, ears, nose). The kids also participate in arts and crafts. A few weeks ago they each made their own paper pumpkin face. They were really cute. Overall, I have had a great experience and would highly recommend this daycare to my friends and family. I feel so fortunate that I was able to find such a fantastic place for my kids so close to home.

Miss Sonia provides childcare for my three-year-old and occasionally my five-year-old. She has been working very hard helping my three-year-old learn how to write and he looks so forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays at Miss Sonia's house. He actually cried when I picked him up on his first day because he loves her house so much and didn't want to leave. Her home is clean, organized, and perfectly set up for childcare. The children get plenty of outside time and wholesome snacks and meals. I have enrolled my son in several preschools and daycares, and this is by far the best one, as she exceeds my expectations every day. I always get a receipt when I pay and each day have an evaluation of what happened and what my son learned, ate, and napped. She is very thorough and I would recommend her to all of my friends and family.

I have it enrolled my child with Sonia's program (yet) due to logistics but I would when the time comes that it works out. Sonia welcomed me and my family into her home for a tour and wow, was I impressed. She was very professional, organized and most importantly the basis of her daycare is about love and caring of children as if her own. Sonia shared with us the vision of her business and if only one meeting and a few phone and emails is a good indicator, she will be very successful with many happy clients. I wouldn't leave my child with just anyone. And my interactions with Sonia left me confident that my daughter would be in good hands with her.

My girls love it here. They didn't want to leave on the first day! They love the songs and learning the alphabet and are talking so much. They get along well with the other kids. Sonia is great at communicating with parents and keeping you up to date on any changes. The house is always clean and tidy. I am happy to have found a great place for my kids to grow and learn.

I couldn't be more happy with my decision to send my son to Ohana Childcare. When I pick him up he is so happy and content. He has learned so much in a small amount of time that I am completely impressed with Miss Sonia. I also really appreciate the fact that she takes the time to write down what occurs throughout the day. She will write down what he eats, how his day was and if he sleeps. I have also noticed that Miss Sonia works incredibly well with diffusing issues with the children in a very calm and collective manner.

Ms. Sonia is great! She has made the transition back to work for me very smooth. She sent me pictures and updates of my son and made sure I knew he was in good hands. She also let me know how much the other kids enjoyed him as well which I really appreciated. Happy we chose her as our daycare provider!
